The museum was built in 1927 in the name of the Governor's Palace, and it was sold to the Ministry of Culture by the Special Regional Administration in 1977, and then restored to its current form.
Namık Kemal house
This house is a memorial to the famous Turkish poet Namik Kemal who was born in 1840 and was built in 1993 by the Tekirdağ Namık Kemal Association and houses the written works of Namık Kemal and his personal works.
